This exclusive lunch service is being put on by Fenix – from the people behind high-end Chinese restaurant Tattu – just for our subscribers.
Inspired by the high-end Mediterranean dining scene of Mykonos, the menu – created by Michelin exec chef Ippokratis Anagnostelis and head chef Zisis Giannouras – takes in a host of sharing dishes, updating classic Greek recipes and creating new ones along the way.
Fresh pita will be served with grilled aubergine, tomato confit and feta espuma, along with fresh hummus and smoked Taramasalata with fresh white fish roe cream.
Meanwhile signature plates will include clay pot roasted lamb with vine leaves, wagyu beef ‘stifado’, the traditional Greek stew, sea bass ceviche and an updated take on the classic moussaka, all using painstakingly sourced, authentic ingredients.
The wine list will showcase the finest produce from Greece’s vineyards, while the cocktail list will feature 16 bespoke creations, split into the elements – water, earth, air and fire.
Set where Spinningfields meets the emerging and vibrant St Johns, a table at Fenix will be this winter’s hottest ticket. And you’ll be able to get in there before anyone else with Manchester’s Finest.
