It’s not long until Spring comes around, I’ve noticed the nights are getting lighter ever so slightly. It’s definitely teasing us but these storms are not helping.

One thing that comes from an extra-long winter, like the animals that we are is – FOOD! So don’t worry, it’s perfectly acceptable to be still looking for food swimming in gravy and absolutely not eating salads.

Luckily for you, Dakota has released a brand new menu for February that is packed full of winter warmers and feel-good food across a range of tempting starters, mains and desserts.

3 courses start at £20 and 3 courses are £25, the Prix Fixe Menu is available from 12:30pm – 2:30pm and 6pm – 6:45pm every day.

The February menu includes a range of starters including delicious and crispy Cod Croquettes served with black garlic and fennel. There’s also Ham Hock Terrine served with carrot and pickled walnut and a Beetroot Tartare with kohlrabi and goats cheese.

There is an additional vegetarian option including a refreshing Tofu dish that comes served with watermelon, chilli and coriander amongst other dishes.

For the main event, there’s a brand new Goosnargh Duck Break served with celeriac, kale and pancetta. There’s also Corn Fed Chicken, Salmon served with mussels and a Gnocci dish with gorgonzola, smoked almond and chive.

For veggie alternatives, there is Tempura Vegetables served with chilli jam and garlic aioli. There’s also a Sweet Potato Rosti served with wild mushrooms, spinach and poached egg.

The dessert menu is as indulgent as ever and perfectly wintery including Sticky Toffee Pudding served the classic way with vanilla ice cream. There’s also Chocolate Delice, Caramel Tart, Apple Frangipane, Chocolate Avocado Brownie and Coffee Crème Brûlée
