Set to re-open after 8 months from Wednesday 10th August, Peter Street’s award-winning Indian restaurant, Asha’s, are now taking bookings, back to providing the people of Manchester with an unrivalled dining experience, and the finest Indian culinary traditions and dishes in truly opulent surroundings.

Asha’s is also opening alongside a stylish new bar concept, ‘The Peterman‘ which is set to be one of the most exciting new additions to the Peter Street neighbourhood. Guests and city-dwellers alike are invited to unlock hand-crafted cocktails here, in a place to hide away for afternoons with friends and loved ones, sipping cocktails late into the night.

The Peterman promises nods to the historic tales of the past throughout, with its very own twists on the “untold saga of Peter Street.” The new bar has created a range of characters which are part of the Peterman experience and inextricably linked to Manchester’s past.

So you’ve got the likes of ‘Diamond Dan of Didsbury’, ‘Ambitious Annie of Ardwick’ and ‘Fearless Freddie of Fallowfield’ – all with their very own cocktail on the menu. So, Diamond Dan is a mix of Didsbury Gin Manchester Tart, fresh lemon, raspberries and egg white, while Fearless Frediie contains Premium Bourbon, honey and fresh lemon juice.

All of the character’s stories and history of Peter Street can be gleamed on The Peterman’s cocktail menu – which you can explore here:

Alongside these character-driven Signature Serves, The Peterman also offers a selection of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines and beers. In addition, The Peterman also provides a lavish dining room for up to 24 guests, and a boardroom meeting space for up to 18 people.

With Asha’s re-opening their doors this week, the restaurant will be offering a complimentary glass of Prosecco for each person when you book in advance and dine in August.

The restaurant will also be hosting an exclusive event to commemorate India’s 75th Year of Independence – with a lavish evening of entertainment and three-course feasting experience, with delicious and flavourful dishes curated by Asha’s new head chef, Rajesh Bhatt.
