To celebrate (or commiserate?) getting back to work after the brilliant Bank Holiday, Chef Patron of WOOD, Simon Wood, is giving away 50 free drinks this Wednesday evening for Mancunians who want to carry on the festivities into the working week.
Simon, who won’t be drinking himself ahead of Sunday’s London Marathon, is offering 50 free drinks to the first people to arrive at the First Street restaurant on Wednesday after 5pm. Drinks available will be:
Glass of Fizz
Didsbury Gin & Tonic
Beer

Guests don’t have to dine or buy anything else to qualify but if they do want to eat they can enjoy the set menu or five course tasting menu until 6.30pm or dine from the a la carte or seven course tasting menu anytime.

The weather isn’t promising to hold out, but if the sun is still shining guests can enjoy their drinks on the restaurant’s beautiful sun trap of a terrace.
