What can we expect from the HOME-X boxes?
Well we’re told that there will be everything from vegan tasting menus, hand picked artisan cheeses, exceptional wines, and even pre-prepared Chateaubriand!
Helping to seriously impress your support bubble and revolutionise your dinners, the HOME-X boxes come with pre-prepared ingredients and full cooking instructions.
Basically, the guys over at Six By Nico and their pals have took alllllll the hard work out of entertaining so we can just enjoy the best bits – ta guys!
Making the process of cooking at home, simple, hassle-free and as tasteful as ever – each experience will be refreshed each month!
The team working on the HOME-X experience have developed each of the initial wave of food and drink brands in-house after doing plenty of research (all the products are practical and convenient and build around those customers who want to experience some luxury dine-dining from home!)
How are they prepared?
Each gorgeously branded box will be carefully cooked, pre-prepared and packaged the day before its arrival. The team have worked hard on their presentation and have basically invented a fridge in a box that is 99% recyclable.
Each kit is portioned into individual cardboard containers filled with all the elements needed to create each meal – easy peasy!
The first wave of brands to launch on the platform include Home by Nico, STEM wine club, Chateau-X, The Cheese Club and vegan offering 24-Carrot.
Next month will see the launch of E-Eatery, with at-home dining experiences created in collaboration with some of the UK’s favourite eateries.
Home by Nico
The Home by Nico box is a ready-made culinary experience that simply needs to be assembled and finished at home for the delight of dining at home (following a similar concept to their restaurant with an ever changing four-course tasting menu themed around memories).
These guys bring the most stunning chateaubriand dinners to dining tables across the UK. Expect a well-seasoned cut of chateaubriand paired with three tasty sides and a bottle of wine. One to impress the dinner guests I think.
HOME-X’s new wine club will offer a bespoke selection of exceptional wines (personally curated and developed by Six by Nico COO Rachael Rafferty – so you know they’re good) Each month, five half bottles of fine wine will be carefully curated and delivered to your doorstep.
Designed to share, 24 Carrot is a brand new vegan-experience and the first of its kind apparently! Expect eight vegan tasting dishes, created by some seriously talented chefs.
The Cheese Club
This one is right up my street. Five unique artisan cheeses are paired with a selection of
homemade chutneys and relishes, crispy crackers and the finest port – yum! Curated and handpicked alongside renowned Cheesemongers I.J Melis, The Cheese Club is a masterpiece of taste and texture.
E.Eatery will be the final brand that HOME-X will launch in its initial stages, and will provide at home experiences in collaboration with some of the UK’s top independent restaurants.
A pressed juice brand and a Sunday Roast brand are also in the pipeline for the platform early next year!
In total, HOME-X aims to introduce twenty new food and drink home experiences in the first quarter, and we can’t bloody wait to see who.

“When we were forced to close the Six by Nico restaurants across the UK, we gave fans of the brand a chance to make our signature tasting menu at home and the feedback was phenomenal. We packed and distributed over 100,000 meals across sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, London & Belfast, but we felt there was so much scope to service the rest of the UK, and to give our customers even more dining options at-home.
The HOME-X experiences give customers the opportunity to dine-in or stay at home while still enjoying the same top-quality culinary experience, but now with even more choice”.

Our new business also opens up the whole of the UK as a customer. With six new brands initially listed on HOME-X, each offering various different dine-in experiences to choose from. Prices for the array of experiences we feature on the site varies from £50 to £70 and ranges from two to four servings.”
