It’s safe to say that Manchester has gone bottomless mad of late, with almost every bar, restaurant and even takeaways offering up some form of endless booze offering.
Not that we’re complaining. It’s started to cost so much to just heat my house that I’ve decided to stay outdoors as often as possible, warming myself on rocks in the sun like a lizard, and showering in the warm summer rain.
Okay, so it’s not that bad, but getting a bit of bottomless action on a weekend is one of the last remaining pleasures I have, and it’s just gotten even better, as Kong’s Chicken Shop have teamed up with Northern Monk Refectory to launch a NEW Bottomless event for Saturday 11th June at 12pm.
For just £28 per person, you get a 90-minute session featuring Kong’s Brunch Menu of Chicken & Waffles with bacon and maple syrup, or Steak & Eggs, plus free-flowing pints from Northern Monk’s selection.
The event comes as Kong’s continue to make a big splash across the city, starting as a limited pop-up at CBRB in 2021, before heading to Foundation for a spell, and now operating out of Dog Bowl, and with their very own sandwich concept in Hatch. Throughout this time they’ve been serving up fried chicken, a ‘Meat & Three’ concept and some very special Roast Dinners from Northern Monk Refectory on Tariff Street in the Northern Quarter.
