Allons-y is a new coffee and natural wine shop based at the Ancoats Pop-Up Market in the courtyard space of 23 Radium Street.
From 10am until 3pm every Saturday, Allons-y will be selling speciality coffee by roasters Calendar, Colonna and Manchester’s Blossom. All roasters that Allons-y stocks sell coffee products as sustainable, ethical, low-intervention and natural as possible.
Shoppers will be able to purchase bags of speciality coffee beans to take home. Coffee will be sold in blends that are perfect for espresso, which can be used as the base of cappuccino, flat white, and lattes, or for long filter coffee drinks.
As well as coffee to take with them, shoppers can buy fresh filter coffee from Allons-y for takeaway or get a cup for free, with every cake purchased. Allons-y will be represented at the Pop-Up Market alongside other environmentally conscientious, Manchester-based small businesses, like the Platt Fields Market Garden Shop.
Founder Dominic White is looking forward to offering speciality coffee alongside other ecological food products: “We’re so excited to be selling a range of our speciality coffee at the Ancoats Pop-Up Market. It’s fantastic to be amongst other local, independent, ecologically-minded businesses.”
Coffee beans will be freshly ground by the Allons-y team at the Pop-Up, on purchaser’s request. Coffee stocked at the Pop-Up was hand-selected by the Allons-y team for depth and vibrancy of flavour. All the roasters Allons-y partner with have good environmental and ethical credentials.
Coffee sold at the Pop-Up includes beans roasted by Manchester-based sustainable roasters Blossom, who are currently awaiting confirmation of B Corporation status for the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. All filter coffee on sale at the Pop-Up Shop is roasted by Blossom.
Allons-y was founded as an online retailer in December 2020. After 3 months gaining traction online, founder Dominic White is excited to reach Manchester’s wine and coffee lovers face-to-face at this Pop-Up Shop:
