Available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Cottonopolis are now on Deliveroo – and let’s just get this out there; What ‘effing took them SO long?!
I’ve been sat here, eating porridge and baked beans (not together) like a peasant – while whoever it is in charge over at Cottonopolis has been denying me some seriously good grub. I’ve even been drinking tap water, I mean – come on you lot!
Fear not however, because this weekend you too can throw away your Quaker Oats and flush away any of the terrible food you’ve been buying from ALDI – as Cottonopolis have finally got their act together and have introduced a new delivery menu for us all to enjoy.
Their ‘Home-akase’ offering features a whole host of their most popular and tasty creations – many of which you’ll certainly have missed over the long, hard winter of lockdown hell.
The main focus here is their Dim-Sum, or smaller plates – where you order yourself a bit of everything, spread it all out on the bed when it gets there and you go to town.
There’s a selection of Bao Buns (Katsu Chicken, Beef Tskune, Prawn Menchi and Sesame Glazed Tofu), Yakitori Skewers, Deep-Fried Agemono (Karaage Chicken, Sesame Glazed Sticky Beef and Salt & Pepper Squid) plus some great sides and starters.
You can also order yourself some of Cottonopolis’ signature sushi rolls; with Prawn & Avocado Dragon Rolls (£10) and their Crab California Rolls (£10) certainly being the must-haves.
Finally, they’re also offering up a modest selection of House Cocktails – made by their very talented team on the bar. Of particular note is their sublime Whisky & Walnut (£9) with Johnnie Walker Green, Amer Picon, Walnut liqueur and finished with Orange Bitters.
