The culinary landscape of Alderley Edge is to be forever changed with the arrival of Italian Seafood Ristorante and Franciacorta bar ‘Blue Lobster’.

Opening to the public on the 1st April 2017, this stylish eatery will serve authentic Italian seafood every night until late evening.

Situated in an elegant two-floor conversion just next to Gusto, this 80 plus cover venue features a downstairs bar that is perfectly placed to enjoy the lively Cheshire location along with a contemporary top floor restaurant.

Bringing all important Italian flair to the cuisine will be Head Chef Mirko Capomaggi.

Sourced directly from Rome, successful seafood entrepreneur Mirko is an accomplished, international chef with a wealth of passion and expertise in authentic Italian food.

Served until late every night, the menu boasts a selection of carefully curated seafood dishes such as seafood Paccheri. and tuna fillet along with lobster, oysters and traditional seafood antipasti.

Along with late night dining hours, another first for the area will be the restaurant’s dedicated ‘Franciacorta’ bar. Aptly made near the fashion mecca of Milan in Lombardy, Franciacorta was Italy’s first wine to be produced in the classic “Champagne” method. An evolution of Prosecco, this coveted sparkling tipple is celebrated for its richness and complexity and as Blue Lobster will be one of a few venues in the area to offer this discerning drink, it’s set to attract Italophiles from far and wide.

This innovative wining and dining concept is the brainchild of Andrea Zecchino and Nino Caruso, who are founders of popular wine cafe chain Veeno, which was set up in 2013 and now has 11 branches in the UK.

Owner Andrea Zecchino said:

“Blue Lobster is all about traditional Italian ambience and authenticity and so everything from the sparkling wine to the Chef has been sourced directly from Italy. This is also why we extended the dining hours to facilitate a more relaxed, Mediterranean dining culture.

Although Blue Lobster is a new venture, it will capitalise on our extensive management experience and combined with the experience of our acclaimed Head Chef and consultants, we are satisfied we can establish Blue Lobster as Alderley Edge’s premium seafood restaurant of choice.”

Blue Lobster will be open every day from April 1st 2017 and will serve food until 11pm.
