It’s always impressive when someone knows something about wine other than its colour, and so to help those who are clueless or to enlighten those who are interested, get your tickets for Grafene’s monthly Wine Tasting events.
Head on down to Grafene on the first Wednesday of every month and you can experience a relaxed evening, getting to know about the best vineyards and wines from around the world, as well as tasting some of their fantastic modern British dishes – perfectly matched to each drink.
While you enjoy your wine and three course meal, Master of Wine Miles Corish will talk you through the selection of five wines that he has specifically paired with each dish. One of only a handful of Masters of Wine in the North and one of only 350 Masters of Wine in the world – Miles currently consults to and supplies some of the best restaurants in the North of England, working with them on wine list design, food and wine matching and staff education.
November also sees a bit of something special as Pommery talks through a selection of Champagnes, again which have specifically been paired with each of the three courses.
