If you are looking to learn how to make authentic Indian cuisine at home or want to surprise a loved one with a Christmas Gift that is a little out of the ordinary Zouk’s exciting cookery school promises to teach you how to recreate some of your favourite dishes, with hands on practical tuition and a step by step guide to follow at home with plenty of recipes and tips.

Zouk’s Classes take place at their Manchester restaurant on Chester Street and start at 10am where you will be greeted and treated to some home made desi chai tea and then learn how to make the dishes on the menu for the day with their team of chefs. After your hard work in the kitchen you can then sit down and enjoy the food you have prepared. Classes end at around 1.30pm.

“The people who come to our cookery school are at all stages and levels of cooking ability, from the novice to the trained chef, we welcome them all.  We particularly enjoy sharing some of our tips and skills with individuals who share our passion for food, and want to expand their skills into Asian cuisine. On the cooking course you learn authentic techniques and how to prepare and cook some fantastic dishes.  To make the course as interesting as possible and very hands on, every participant gets to marinate the food, prepare the ingredients and cook the dishes.”

Tayub Amjad – Managing Director

Creative Director Mudassar Amjad added ‘The dishes are chosen to give people an idea of the different herbs and spices, their properties and the taste they infuse. At the end of the cooking everybody sits down to share the food and enjoy what they have prepared and cooked. They also get a pack of recipes to take home so they can recreate the dishes.’
