Co-op Live has announced a new partnership with the Manchester-based independent brewery ShinDigger Brewing Co. under which the brewery becomes an official supplier to the venue.

ShinDigger’s flagship lager, ShinDigger Session, will now be available at every main bar within the arena. Alongside this, Co-op Live has introduced a the ShinDigger Craft Bar on level one — a dedicated bar where fans can try a changing roster of beers from the Manchester brewery.

ShinDigger began brewing about a decade ago, making small batches and delivering by cargo bike.

Since then the company has grown into one of the city’s best-known independent breweries. The new arena deal demonstrates that a home-grown business can scale up to serve tens of thousands of event-goers.

Guy Dunstan, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Co-op Live, said: “Co-op Live is proud to work with local suppliers who reflect the creativity and community spirit of Manchester. ShinDigger is a brilliant example of a home-grown business with bold ambitions, and we’re delighted to showcase their beers to fans across the arena.”

James Roberts, Managing Director at ShinDigger, added: “Launching ShinDigger Session across Co-op Live, alongside our dedicated Craft Bar, is a milestone moment for us. We’ve always believed independent brewing can thrive on the biggest stages, and this partnership proves it. We’re excited to bring fans a taste of Manchester’s craft scene as part of their live entertainment experience.”

The collaboration also reinforces Co-op Live’s commitment to local procurement and sustainability, aligning its entertainment-offer with positive impact for Manchester’s businesses and communities.

To mark the launch, ShinDigger is offering fans the chance to win craft beer for a year from the Craft Bar — valid across all events from comedian Jason Manford on 24 October through to the boxing match between Josh Buatsi and Zach Parker on 1 November 2025.

Further details on how to enter will be provided to ticket-holders at the events via QR code.
