By the time you’ve reached this sentence, you’ll have already seen at least two pictures of the pancakes available at 19 Cafe Bar on Lever Street.
It’s highly likely that you’ll be drooling already, and probably popping your coat on to run down there straight away and get some for yourself. Well, you’ll have to wait until Wednesday 8th July until you can do that because that’s when they’ll be re-opening.
Once they do open though – you’re free to head on down and get tucking in – and I promise you – it’ll have been well worth the wait.
Today I’m presenting you with their deliciously naughty Biscoff Pancakes (£11) but their Brunch menu is extensive, featuring cooked breakfasts, their signature sweetcorn Fritter Stack, Club Sandwiches, Bagels, Benedicts and even Brunch cocktails! (I’ll have a Bloody Mary please – extra hot)
The Pancakes on offer are impressive too. Alongside this Biscoff creation are their Funfetti Pancakes (£9); which come loaded with vanilla ice cream, strawberry syrup, sprinkles and M&Ms, and their Pancakes & Bacon (£9); a true American classic.
The Biscoff ones you see before you though, well they look absolutely bloody brilliant, and they’re HUGE too – with 3 massive pancakes stacked with Biscoff spread, caramelised banana, ice cream, Biscoff crumb and a salted caramel sauce.
