Volta hosts Witchy Cocktail Pop-up this Saturday

The fashionable neighbourhood drinking and dining spot Volta in West Didsbury is hosting Into the Gathering Dusk on Saturday 24th March for an evening of delicious cocktails made with foraged ingredients.

The evening will be presented by Lucy Noone from R Noone and Son, a local Manchester fresh produce supplier and catering service and will see a range of beautiful cocktails made with hand-foraged garnishes.

As the days get longer and warmer, the countryside is brimming with a pantry full of ingredients that are waiting to be discovered. From to wild honey to rosehips to nettles and elderflower, it is safe to say there are a plethora of cocktail ingredients on our doorsteps… and yes, even here in Manchester.

Sticking with this theme, The Gathering Dusk who will be taking over our second-floor bar at Volta and serving up some delicious cocktails using components that are foraged from the land.

Drinks include the likes of a mescal margarita with raw honey, thyme and grapefruit- daintily named ‘Hive Mind’ and homemade non-alcoholic root-beer.

Into the Gathering Dusk will be there from 10pm until Late and is set up to be the best way to spend a Saturday night for all you cocktail-loving witches out there.
