Crazy Pedro’s are known for putty whacky things on their pizzas, particularly for their monthly specials like that one with Chippy Tea on it or the 24k gold one.
Now they’ve gone one step further to celebrate National Margarita Day and made a Margarita Margherita… get it…?!
The pizza dough is first fermented in Jose Cuervo tequila for over 24-hours before being topped with tomato sauce that is marinated in triple sec, salt, garlic and tequila.
The whole thing is then topped with Buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil leaves and grated parmesan before one last garnish of sea salt and fresh lime – true Margarita style.
The £8 pizza even comes with Margarita to wash it down with!
You can order the pizza from Friday 5th February and the pizza and cocktail will arrive on National Margarita Day on Monday 22nd February.
Jose Cuervo has even released the perfect Margarita recipe, just in case one isn’t enough…
Ingredients:
- Cubed Ice
- 30ml Jose Cuervo Especial Silver
- 12.5 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 15ml Basil Syrup
- 50ml Tomato Water
- 20ml Tomato Juice
Method:
Shake and fine strain into a salt-rimmed rocks glass. Serve with Cherry Tomato & Mozzarella Ball skewer and basil leaf.
