Wing Lo and Clayton present their third solo exhibition. Following the inaugural solo exhibition in Hong Kong back in 2017, the pair embarked on their second, personal artistic journey in Manchester last year. Opening on 15 May, the exhibition looks to convey a message to the wider world – ‘to find simple joy and savour happiness within the ordinary’.
“Time is a treasure to be cherished, and every moment deserves our mindful appreciation. Amidst the bustling life of a vibrant city, we often overlook the subtle happiness that surrounds us. Certain moments and the passing of time can slip away like sand through our fingers, fading into oblivion. Yet, when a sudden tide of memory washes over us, those forgotten feelings resurface, akin to a mellow vintage wine, leaving a unique aftertaste in our hearts. The journey of life, though interwoven with both joy and sorrow, reveals upon reflection that we have always been well, perhaps just too prone to forgetting the beauty we‘ve experienced.”
