A brand-new one day wellbeing festival is coming to Manchester this summer. Meadowfest will take place at Angel Meadow Park on Saturday 22 June and has been designed to help city centre residents switch off and reset.
The inaugural event will feature a packed schedule full of workshops, taster classes and talks to motivate, energise and educate. It will kick off with an hour-long yoga session, hosted by Yoga Alliance certified instructor Kate Tittley, before boxing, Brazilian jujitsu, aerial hoop sessions and tarot card readings. All classes will be organised and taught by fitness instructors and experts from the local community.
The day of wellbeing will finish with an empowerment workshop and Q&A hosted by Moodswings, a Manchester-based charity with a mission to foster mental health and wellbeing in the community, to make sure everyone goes home feeling their very best. Throughout the day there will be street food and a full bar available at the recently opened Fairfield Social Club and Foundation Coffee House.
