We like how they operate over at Mystery International Film Club. Returning to Central Library’s Performance Space this February, the concept is simple. They give you five international films to vote on, you book a ticket, cast your vote, and only find out what’s screening on the night. This month’s selections explore morality, chaos and cultural identity across continents and decades. Contenders include Nazarin (1959, Mexico), Jallikattu (2019, India), Nine Queens (2000, Argentina), The Noose (1958, Poland) and Rockers (1978, Jamaica). Doors open at 5pm, with a short intro at 5.20pm before the film starts at 5.30pm.
