One of Manchester’s most electric live acts is stepping into one of the city’s most iconic rooms. On Friday 30 January 2026, Riot Jazz Brass Band headline Albert Hall Manchester for their biggest hometown show to date — a full-throttle celebration of brass, bass and forward-thinking jazz culture.
The show lands alongside the release of Equal Heights, Riot Jazz’s new album and the result of a year-long project that saw the band release a new single every month throughout 2025. It’s a proper milestone moment, and they’re marking it in the only way they know how: loud, communal and unapologetically high-energy.
Expect the band’s signature sound in full force — bass-heavy brass lines, breakbeats, rave energy and the kind of live intensity that turns any room into a moving mass. Riot Jazz’s reputation has been built on shows that blur the line between gig and party, drawing as much from street-parade chaos as they do from tight, heavyweight musicianship.
The night is very much a celebration of Manchester talent too. Iconic local vocalist Jenna G joins Riot Jazz as a special one-night-only guest, while Cooper T opens proceedings with a live set of sharp-edged modern jazz grooves.

Between and beyond the live performances, the energy stays high with DJ sets from Johnny Scratchley, Rhod Parry and DJ Roesh, bringing deep cuts, dancefloor pressure and serious party instincts to keep the room moving all night long.
