Prolific songwriter and talented vocalist Ruby Turner has had an incredible career. Born in Jamaica and raised in Montego Bay, Ruby moved to England at the age of nine. Inspired by her grandfather’s involvement in Gospel groups, Turner has gone on to enjoy an amazing career, including tours with Jools Holland, joining Culture Club, hit singles and working alongside artists including Mick Jagger and Brian Ferry. She plays at The Lowry in Salford on Wednesday 17 January 2024.
