After sell-out events and smash-hit runs at London’s Leicester Square and the Edinburgh Fringe, world-leading cabaret show La Clique has revealed the full line-up for its Manchester rooftop debut, taking place across the summer months.

Hosted on the top of Mayfield Depot in a purpose built 1920s-inspired Spiegeltent venue, La Clique will bring together some of the world’s most talented circus, cabaret and comedy performers. From aerial contortion artists to clowns and foot jugglers, the residency kicks off on Thursday 25 May for a limited six-week run.

Announcing its full cast this week, La Clique will feature performances from tension strap artist LJ Marles, who hangs from the ceiling via straps whilst moving his body through different routines. Aerial contortion artist Miranda Menzies, who specialises in the art of hair suspension, has also been added to the line-up, as well as comedian and stunt performer Sam Goodman.

Straps aerial artist Oscar Kaufman will also perform across the residency, as well as Tara Boom, a clown and foot juggler who will join the line-up on selected nights. Crowds can also expect to see the stomach-churning art of sword swallowing from Heather Holliday.

The show has been developed by world-leading live entertainment company Underbelly, who first established La Clique in Edinburgh, before launching it on the banks of the Thames at London’s South Bank. Coming to Manchester for its very first performance in the North, La Clique will run every evening from Tuesday – Sunday with start times varying between 7pm and 9.45pm. The running time for the show is 100 minutes including an interval.

The unique Spiegeltent venue, a traditional Dutch tent made using wood and canvas and decorated with mirrors, offers multiple seating options – all with a great view of the central, circle stage. Private booths for up to eight adults are also available for a group night out with a bottle of Prosecco included.

To celebrate its opening, La Clique Manchester is offering limited early bird tickets for the first two weeks where stalls tickets are reduced to £25 per person. Tickets are automatically discounted via the website.
