Famed for its eggs benedict fries and original UK meets USA style sausage combos, the Splendid Sausage Co, on John Dalton Street, today announces the launch of a city-wide game, Splendid Hides the Sausage.
Starting Friday 22nd August at noon, the mischievous team at Splendid will be hiding 50 prize winning silver sausages and ONE supreme, golden sausage somewhere in and around the city centre.
Each hidden banger is adorned with a luggage tag with details of its foodie prize. To complete their claim, lucky finders will be asked to tweet or Facebook a silver or golden sausage selfie taken at the hiding place to @SplendidMcr or facebook.com/splendidsausages.
Whoever finds the single golden sausage is in for a treat, the grand prize will be free dogs at Splendid for a whole year. That’s lunch and or dinner sorted for the next twelve months!
