Dave started his art career in Berlin where he would regularly exhibit on the Berlin Art scene but when it was when he moved to Manchester that his career really took off. Recently Dave has started documenting Manchester city centre and other Manchester areas in a series of Doodle Maps. These show the well known and less well known areas of the city in a quirky and imaginative way, interspersed with sprawling patterns and funny characters. Dave also does a lot of freelance work with his doodle maps and in the past year alone has done murals for Unilad, Manchester Arndale and the Renaissance Hotel, as well as jobs further afield in Hong Kong, Aberdeen and London.
