Manchester’s premier casino and entertainment venue, Manchester235 is to open its brand new plaza entrance this Thursday (11th) inside Manchester’s iconic Great Northern Warehouse.
The casino, currently accessed via Watson Street, has spent £150,000 on the design and construction of the new entrance on the first floor of the Grade 2* listed building, giving customers direct access from Great Northern Square alongside fellow tenants AMC Cinemas and Virgin Active.
The new entrance designed by Newcastle-based Dakota House of Design, responsible for the original refurbishment design in 1998, took a month to construct and will offer the public a chance to see inside the casino for the first time.
Manchester235’s Venue Director Austin Graham said: “This new entrance means a huge increase in visibility for Manchester235. It has far greater impact in terms of its design than our current entrance and is situated in a much more strategic location. It’s a striking addition and one we believe will dramatically increase footfall.”
