The second Noise Above Noise illuminated The Penthouse NQ last night (thurs 28th November) and was just as inspiring as the first!
This is the second Noise Above Noise i’ve been to and i’ve loved them both. Organised by Rosanne Robertson and Debbie Sharp at The Penthouse NQ it is a brilliantly curated and visually stunning night of sound art and performance. The atmosphere is always interesting, relaxing, welcoming and overall inspiring.
A brilliantly curated and visually stunning night of sound art and performance
Building on the positive and inspiring energy from the first Noise Above Noise event, Robertson and Sharp brought together a fantastic mix of artists including 2 Koi Karp, Manoli Moriaty with Frances-Kay, Alison Coooper, one half of Magpahi, Kelly Jayne Jones as well as both Rosanne Roberton and Debbie Sharp themsleves.
A delightful mixture of textures, tones, styles and stories and as I left The Penthouse my mind was full to the brim of beautiful sonic frequencies
The performances last night offered a delightful mixture of textures, tones, styles and stories and as I left The Penthouse my mind was full to the brim of beautiful sonic frequencies. Walking for the train resonating in my mind was repeat, echo, scratching pitch, delay and empty static!
I’m really looking forward to the next Noise Above Noise and cannot wait to see what else comes out of The Penthouse.
