Snow Patrol @ Manchester Arena
Wednesday 30th January
The Northern Irish lads are back with a new album and obligatory tour around the UK’s various stadiums and venues. It’s highly unlikely that they’ll be able to fill the Arena so tickets should be flying around everywhere.

The Dandy Warhols @ Albert Hall
Thursday 31st January
Do you remember that one song that The Dandy Worhols did ‘Bohemian Like You’? Well now you can listen to them play it live, alongside a load of other songs that you’ve probably never heard of before or will do again.

Kaiser Chiefs @ O2 Apollo
Friday 1st February
This week is seemingly just full of those indie bands that were all the range circa-2005 who then quickly disappeared into obscurity. Friday sees the Kaiser Chiefs head back to Manchester, singing all of those songs that your mum listened to for a while when she thought she was cool but most certainly wasn’t.

Boyzone @ Manchester Arena
Saturday 2nd February
Forget the Spice Girls, this is the comeback of the year. Boyzone are back and they’ll be playing all of their hits at the Arena, most likely to a crowd consisting mostly of middle aged women. I still don’t know what Mikey and Shane Lynch do.

The Magical Music of Harry Potter @ The Bridgewater Hall
Saturday 2nd February
I know very little about the music of Harry Potter, mainly because I’ve never even bothered watching the films. Not my thing unfortunately. I’m sure that the music is good though, and when the Halle play anything – it’s always 100x better.

Ozzy Osbourne @ Manchester Arena
Sunday 3rd February
To quell any fears that he’s dead, Ozzy is back on tour with his No More Tours 2 Tour. I don’t know how the lad is still alive, perhaps he really did sell his soul to the devil in 1982?

Enter Shikari @ Manchester Academy
Sunday 3rd February
Enter Shikari have won loads of awards since forming in 2006, from ‘Hero of the Year’ for lead vocals Rou Reynolds, to ‘Best Live Band’ at the Kerrang! Awards. You can’t get much better than that now can you?!
