Headlining are legendary rockers Franz Ferdinand who are back with a vengeance with their electrifying energy on stage, expect from their set singalongs, disco dancing and general euphoria.
In over a decade the Scots have released five albums, headlined festivals and sold out arenas all over the world. They are certainly one of the UK’s biggest and most exciting bands, who are going to make this years British Sound Project stand out from the rest.
Another big one on this years line up is The Cribs who last year released an album ‘24-7 Rock Star Shit’ which is their seventh album release. The Wakefield-based trio have been quiet since picking up the NME ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music’ but with this album being their highest charting thus far, they’re not done yet.
Hot newcomers to look out for on the bill are Manchester’s very own Larkins. You may have seen them playing evergrowing venues around town, this young band are rising rapidly; The Glossop four piece are hot on their heels, having just announced the ‘Take Off Tour’, their biggest to date, with a gig booked at Manchester Albert Hall in March, don’t miss them. Across other stages are familiar faces Reverend and The Makers, Eliza and The Bear and many more will also be playing.
Following a successful couple of years this huge indoor festival is fast becoming a staple in the Manchester music calendar. Victoria Warehouse down at Trafford Park is the perfect unique industrial backdrop for the event.
