I saw this on Albert Hall’s Instagram last night and then I woke up this morning thinking it was a dream.

It wasn’t.

Looking at the comments on their post is brilliant;

@davelancastergram
“Tom Waits and Oasis get together to perform the songs of The Eagles.”

@furthest_stars
“Jedward and The Chemical Brothers perform Les Miserables.”

@sarahlouleyland
“Steps and Metallica perform the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber.”

So Rick Astley, the geezer with over 1 billion views of Never Gonna Give You Up on YouTube, is teaming with Stockport indie rockers Blossoms to perform the songs of The Smiths live on stage.
