NQ watering hole Lost Cat is marking its fifth anniversary with the launch of FOUND — a new 120-capacity club and live music room opening upstairs over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

The Oldham Street staple built a reputation as a late-night go-to since opening in 2021. Now the venue is stepping into its next phase with a reimagined upstairs club space.

FOUND at Lost Cat has reformatted the room, upgraded the soundsystem, stuck a new lighting rig in and will now focus around a central, ‘Boiler Room’-style DJ booth.

The launch coincides with the addition of a new whopping 5am licence, allowing the venue to extend its programming further into the early hours. The ground-floor bar will continue to operate as usual, while FOUND will function as a dedicated space for club nights, live performances and curated cultural events, with an emphasis on emerging artists and DJs.

To celebrate both the new opening and five years of Lost Cat, the venue will host a series of four free parties across Easter weekend, running from Thursday 2 April to Sunday 5 April 2026.

The opening night on Thursday 2 April introduces NINE LIVES, a new monthly series focused on live electronic music. Transmission Towers — the collaboration between Mark Kyriacou and Eleanor Mante — will headline, bringing their blend of interplanetary electronics, soul and Afro-futurist rhythms. DJ support comes from Lil’ Minx.

On Friday 3 April, Homoelectric icon Gina Breeze takes over the new space for an all-night-long set, delivering her bass-heavy mix of house, techno and acid.

Saturday 4 April sees MOBILEDISCO return with DayDay behind the decks, a long-time Lost Cat regular.

The weekend closes on Sunday 5 April with El Diablos Social Club, a long-running Northern Quarter party that has been soundtracking the city’s underground since 2003. Led by Neil Diablo, the event begins in the bar before moving upstairs into FOUND, joined by Manchester DJ Matt Ward, also known as Red Laser regular Kickin Pigeon.

The new space opens across Easter weekend, marking a significant next chapter for one of the Northern Quarter’s most established late-night venues.
