A simple hot meal or some milk, fruit, vegetables and bread to take home can really make a difference to an NHS workers’ busy day – easily done with your help.

We’ve teamed up with EATMCR and Manchester Young Professionals (MYP) to feed NHS staff on the front line in Greater Manchester.

From the surgeons to the porters, the nurses to the catering staff, the physios to the midwives, and the paramedics to the GPs – these heroes stand for us every day when we’re at our most vulnerable, and we feel that it’s time to show our appreciation and give something back, hoping to make a part of their day a little less stressful.

To start with, we will be supplying Stock Exchange Hotel, who are putting up NHS workers for free, with bread and other essentials from Pot Kettle Black. We’ve partnered with Street Cars, who will help us transport the supplies.

And it doesn’t stop there. With your help we’re looking to partner with restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and other food outlets from across the region to provide for our front line workers.

If you can, please donate. We will send food regularly to as many NHS staff as we possibly can using local businesses, and we will keep you updated on our dedicated social channel @feedourheroesmcr
