Manchester sets the cocktail bar unfathomably high. What that says about the city, and it’s love for adventurous drinking, is open to interpretation. But it does mean some of the most unforgettable drinks are waiting to be discovered. Roku Gun, fermented peach lacto momo, and oats. Stauning Danish Malt Whiskey, Girolle, Distilled Green Walnut, Apricot Charentes. Coconut Oil Washed Santa Teresa 1796 rum, salted vanilla, oregano and cedarwood. Sotol (like tequila, but floral), fig leaf, and recomposed orange. Just a few example, but hopefully you get the point. Highly technical, like a mad chemist lab but better tasting and a clear love for natural flavours, knowledgeable staff can talk you through the science and creativity, advise on trying out fantastical creations and, of course, whip up any classic if you prefer something familiar.
