Iggle Piggle, Iggle Onk, we went to catch the Ninky Nonk!

If your child is anything like mine, you will have undoubtedly witnessed the trance like state that comes from watching an episode of In The Night Garden. In The Night Garden Live captivates its tiny audience members, by immersing them into the magical world of Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends as they embark on their quest to find Iggle Piggles missing blanket.

The purpose built inflatable dome, is family friendly and accessible, and its plethora of friendly and welcoming staff invite you into the show with greetings and smiles.

Tickets scanned, light up spinning toy purchased (£7.50 and thoroughly span/enjoyed), seats chosen, excited 2 year old at the ready.

From the outset, kids all around gleamed with wonder and squealed with delight as their favourite characters came to life in front of their eyes. The clever combination of puppetry, dance, visuals and comedy certainly impressed not only the children, but also the parents in the room!

The hours show flew by, as the audience were so engrossed in the action packed sing-along-athon. (the father behind me, leaving no word unsung!). As far as children’s entertainment goes, it doesn’t get much better than this. The good news is Iggle Piggle found his blanket, the kids had a great time, and the souvenir brochure meant I finally had the song lyrics for Makka Pakka… Hum Dum, Agga Pang, Ing, Ang, Ooo, Makka Pakka, Akka Wakka, Mikka Makko Moo!
