To mark Flannels 35th anniversary, The Flannels Group is hosting Flannels Creates; a designer auction with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust on Thursday 29th November 2012 at the Flannels Spinningfields store & The Oast House in Manchester.
The campaign target is to raise £50,000 to help cancer patients at The Christie, a specialist cancer centre based in Manchester. The money will go towards helping enhance the cancer treatment and care already offered by The Christie to offer a wider range of complimentary therapies and support.
Natalie Pike, corporate development manager at The Christie Charity said; “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Flannels and be part of this glamourous event, which will help raise vital funds to give cancer patients the support they need to complement their standard treatment.”
The evening will showcase a unique collection of 40 mannequins created by designer brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Gucci, Paul Smith, Matthew Williamson, By Malene Birger, 2nd Day and Raoul with 10 pieces to be exclusively auctioned on the evening.
Each mannequin has been uniquely designed to represent the ethos of the individual brands. They are complete one offs – created especially by each design house for this special event.

To celebrate 35 years of Flannels, we have worked with our brands to create a unique event and support this remarkable institution.”

The evening of fundraising and entertainment will see guests enjoy a champagne reception followed by a fashion exhibition in conjunction with Boss Models, and raffle prize draw. Among the prizes, guests will have a chance to win a £2,000 wardrobe at Flannels and a £7,500 Prada handbag. Guests will also be treated to goodie bags and after party drinks in the Tepee; The Oast House’s exclusive winter venue. The evening will also feature live music with special guests.
