Five-star luxury Lowry Hotel re-opens with improved range of safety measures

The Lowry Hotel swings back into action ready to welcome guests with enhanced safety features

Salford (and Manchester) 5-star luxury city centre hotel, The Lowry Hotel will reopen its doors on Saturday 1st August.

The Lowry Hotel will be opening with enhanced safety procedures including a ‘Check and Inspect Bedroom Guarantee’, increased public area cleanliness measures and mobile check-in and room key operation.

In advance of the reopening, the hotel has undergone as a deep-clean of all areas, including the lobby, food and beverage areas, spa, bedrooms and bedroom corridors.

Recognised for its super stylish bedrooms, The Lowry Hotel has now instructed ‘Room Inspectors’ who will follow a strict checklist to ensure the hotel’s new Check and Inspect bedroom policy is adhered to and all bedrooms are immaculate, safe and clean upon arrival.

Social distancing measures are in place within the hotel and where possible, all customer touch points significantly reduced. Only guests from the same booking will be allowed in the lift at any one time, and the lift will be called and managed by the Front of House team.

To reduce further contact and potential queues at reception, guests can check in via their mobile phone with the Lowry app and use their phone as a room key.

The stylish Lowry Lounge & Bar and River Restaurant which underwent a stunning refurbishment in October, will be serving award-winning quality food, but with a few changes to the usual dining set up including; single waiter allocation, single use menus and A La Carte breakfast – meaning guests can have their favourite Eggs Benedict delivered fresh to order, to their table.

The luxurious Lowry Spa will be offering a full range of ELEMIS and Aromatherapy Associates treatments including massages, facials, lash and brow tinting and waxing with added safety measures in place to allow guests to relax with confidence.

In addition to a deep clean prior to reopening using a sanitisation mist spray, all appointments will follow a 20-minute gap to allow treatment rooms and equipment to be deeply cleaned between use. Plus all nail and pedicure stations will be disinfected after each appointment.

Guests can also be safe in the knowledge that high touch areas in the reception area, River Restaurant, Lowry Lounge & Bar, meeting rooms, spa, gym and bedroom corridors will be cleaned every two hours.

The Lowry Hotel has updated their flexible booking process so that customers can now cancel their bookings free of charge until 1pm the prior to arrival date.
