Building developer Renaker is close to completing the initial phase of its three-part residential plan for the city, as the 52 storey Cortland at Colliers Yard is due to finish, while work on the 444 apartment Bankside is in its early stages.
Further plans for ‘Parkside’ in Salford have now been lodged with the council, a building that will feature a distinctive bronze facade designed by Denton Corker Marshall.
The tower will reach 123-metres comprising 518 apartments, of these 246 will be one-beds, 247 will be two-beds and 25 will house three-bedroom apartments. There will also be 11,000 sq ft of commercial space across five ground-floor units.
The team working on the project consists of planning consultants, Deloitte, alongside GIA, Hoare Lea, TPM Landscaping, MEP Design, Element Sustainability, and Curtins.
Once complete, Renaker’s Greengate masterplan will feature three towers of 52, 43, and 41 storeys and more than 1,500 apartments.
