Curated Makers and Paperchase, have collaborated to host a four-week pop-up in the lead-up to Christmas in their Manchester branch, which features the works of over 40 independent artists and makers from across the North of England.
Situated on the top floor of Paperchase, this unique concession exhibits a carefully curated selection of locally made, unique handcrafted goods including artwork, jewellery, ceramics, candles, Christmas decorations and more.
Picture it as a highly curated artisan market, situated within a shop environment, open 7 days a week, offering the convenience of shopping small and local, on the high-street. With opportunities for customers to ‘meet-the-maker’ within the pop-up, artists will take residency for 1-day-only, offering live pet portraits, personalised decorations, upcycled gifts and more; taking place on each Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the pop-up.
Megan Jones, founder of Curated Makers, said: “It is an honour that Paperchase have welcomed us back to host our second pop-up of the year within their Manchester branch. When we were in store in the Summer, the most asked question was, “Are you going to be back for Christmas?”. Well, we’re so happy to announce that yes we are and that we’ll be here all the way up to Christmas Eve.”
“We are a warm alternative to the Manchester Christmas Markets, with an offering of over 40 artisan makers, with products made locally here in the North, open 7 days a week for your convenience. I really hope that if you are visiting the Markets, that you take time to also visit our Made Local Pop-Up on the top floor of Paperchase to shop small this Christmas…and warm up a little at the same time.”
The Curated Makers Made Local Pop-Up is situated on the top floor of Paperchase, Manchester and will run from Wednesday 27th November to Tuesday 24th December 2019.
