The Liquor Store will be throwing open its doors on Thursday 24th November to host a monumental party to celebrate the achievements of the bar over the last 10 years.

Launched back in 2012 by local lads, Doug Waldron and Brett Collier, the bar opened in an unassuming, derelict part of Maybrook House on the corner of Blackfriars Street and The Parsonage.

Famed for its excellent cocktails, amazing team and Manchester-focused playlist, the venue has since received a huge amount of praise, having won various awards and boasting some excellent online review rankings over the years.

As part of its 10th birthday celebrations, The Liquor Store will host live music, a curated cocktail menu featuring their greatest cocktails, a BBQ and a DJ spinning authentic Liquor Store tunes until the early hours.

Ate Days a Week will also provide a menu of hearty food, alongside sponsored pop-up bars with complimentary cocktails, an array of memories for guests to explore and the usual carnage that has made the Deansgate bar a go-to destination for a great night out.

Owner Doug Waldron, said: “I am extremely proud of what the whole team has built up since opening in 2012. The guys behind the bar have always been our strongest asset, throwing parties for everyone seven nights a week with awesome service, standards, drinks and music! You can’t beat a party here and this one will be one of the greatest!”

The Liquor Store is also giving guests a chance to win free tickets to the birthday event by posting personal memories from the bar with the hashtag #LiquorStoreMCRis10, and tagging @LiquorStoreMCR.

If they use your picture/footage you’ll receive a complimentary ticket to the 10th birthday party.
