The innovative socially distanced art trail, 50 Windows of Creativity, sees a live-streamed auction finale.
The official live auction of the 50 Windows of Creativity artwork will be live-streamed from the Kimpton Clocktower this Thursday.
The trail transformed the city centre into an art gallery with a socially distanced trail throughout lockdown.
The trail itself has also been extended until Sunday 13th December to give Christmas shoppers the chance to see the unique experience.
The auction will be hosted by auctioneer and TV personality, Charles Hanson, who you might know from the likes of Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip and Flog It! and will see all the 72 individual artworks created by the Greater Manchester artists up for grabs.
All the proceeds will be going to the talented artists, designers and makers involved plus donated to The Lord Mayor of Manchester Charity Appeal Trust – We Love MCR Charity.
Art available on the auction includes the Mancunian mosaics from Mark Kenney and Mary Goodwin as well as fine art from RP Roberts and Dreph.
Plus there is stunning photography from Benji Reid, delicate craft from Kaper as well as sculptures, murals and plenty of others.
Charles Hanson, auctioneer and antique expert on TV’s Bargain Hunt, The Antiques Road Trip and Flog It!, said: “I’ve been privileged to see many incredible objects ‘under the hammer’ and the 50 Windows of Creativity artworks – from fine art and photography to ceramics, crafts, mosaics and murals – will be no exception.”
