To celebrate this auspicious event, the team over at the brilliant Make-A-Scene have arranged a LIVE Watch-a-long this Monday 27th April – so you can watch the pilot episode together and discuss away!
The Golden Girls started all the way back in 1985 and is set around 4 single older women, who are all friends of course, just generally getting into mischief down in Miami.
It went on to become a massive hit, running for 180 episodes until 1992 and making the ‘girls’ household names. It’#s now a massive cult hit and I must say – pretty brilliant. You should definitely watch it.
Now Make-A-Scene are pretty well known in the city for their riotous ‘immersive’ cinema screenings, so this won’t just be some boring TV watch-a-long. Oh no. They’re looking for you to deck your gaff out, get dressed up and get the Mimosas all ready for what looks set to be a massive party at lunch time on a Monday. I suppose it’ll be 5pm somewhere.
