A Sicilian Bottomless Brunch Has Landed in Northern Quarter

Every Sunday you can transport yourself to the sun-kissed isle of Sicily at Sicilian NQ’s bottomless brunch!

There’s nothing better than waking up on a Sunday knowing that a boozy bottomless brunch awaits you.

Arriving at a restaurant at 11am and crawling out of the place come 1pm, happy as Larry with a belly full of fizz and class food is the only way I’d like to spend my weekends for the foreseeable.

Add in an Italian element to all of this and my life is complete. I’d like to book a permanent table in Sicilian NQ forever, please.

The restaurant is a cosy neighbourhood bistro specialising in traditional Sicilian food and drink, wowing customers with its refreshing cocktails and world-class crispy arancini.

The bottomless brunch is available on Sundays only from 9am – 5pm and you have the option to choose from either the Bottomless Breakfast menu (available 9am – 12pm) or the Bottomless Brunch menu (available 12pm – 5pm).

With the Bottomless Breakfast option you can get either unlimited Prosecco for £30, or mix and match Prosecco, Aperol Spritz and homemade Limoncello for £40 to pair with a dish from the menu.

They’ve got everything from their world-famous arancini, to pancakes, eggs, and french toast with toppings such as Nutella, pistachio and berries. You’ve got 90 minutes to fit in as much booze as you can, and I have absolutely no doubt that you’ll do us proud.

The Bottomless Brunch menu is a little more extensive. For £40, you can get unlimited Prosecco and it’s £50 if you want Aperol Spritz and Limoncello, too.

The menu is stunning and features classic Sicilian dishes you’ll struggle to find anywhere else in the city.

Kicking things off is the Trinacria, the ancient name of Sicily meaning ‘three pointed’. It recalls the shape of the island and consists of Ravioli with Swordfish, fresh cherry tomatoes, black olives and capers from Pantelleria and basil.

Another dish you have to try is the Tagliatelle Polpette Della Nonna, which is served with Sicilian NQ’s homemade tomato sauce, beef meatballs and creamy parmesan to top it all off.

We also had the pleasure of trying the Gnocchi Pesto. This dish features creamy basil pesto, pine nuts and parmesan, and you HAVE to try the Parmigiana Siciliana, too, that comes with layered aubergine slices, tomato sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan.

You can also grab any of the arancini options if you don’t fancy filling yourself up too much but still want a taste of Sicilian NQ’s outstanding, authentic food. On the menu is the Mr Mount Etna, a volcanic shape Arancino with a melting heart of slow cooked beef ragu and cheese served in a special tomato sauce.

They’ve also got the Arancino Pistachio stuffed with cheese and pistachios and served with a creamy sauce, the Arancino Al Burro served with ham and cheese in a basil pesto sauce, and, last but most certainly not least, the Mushrooms Volcano, another volcanic shape Arancino with a melting heart of mushroom and cheese served in a creamy sauce. WOW.
