With the first week of the government’s ‘Eat In to Help Out’ scheme, it was nigh on impossible to get booked in to loads of my favourite places. Everyone just seemed to have beaten me to it. Not surprising though, seeing as I didn’t even think about eating out until Tuesday.
Basically, loads of places are booked up, which is great news for the industry and shows that the scheme seems to be working to get people out and eating and spending money. Venues too have some up with some seriously impressive offers to entice people to them.
Step up Almost Famous then who have on offer a really rather impressive list of food for a measly tenner. You can choose ANY burger and ANY fries, and then you’ll get wings and a large soft drink thrown in too. For ten quid.
As I’m sure you’re already aware too – those burgers at Almost Famous are certainly not to be scoffed at – they’re typically loaded with a mad, long list of ingredients, and then usually drenched in cheese sauce and bacon. Just looking at these pictures of them is getting me all hot and bothered.
So, this offer is available Monday – Wednesday throughout August ONLY, so you’re probably best getting booked in as soon as you can to take advantage of it. I’ll see you there…
