Artisan coffee and music concept, Stutter & Twitch are expanding their operation in partnership with Bruntwood Works and Trafford Council as part of plans to transform the Stamford Quarter in Altrincham.
The brand will be growing from their innovative “Coffee Caravan” into a permanent ‘bricks and mortar’ unit adjacent to their current spot on Stamford Square. And fans of the caravan will be pleased to hear that it is staying put too.
The new permanent Stutter & Twitch will serve craft beer, and a curated cocktail and wine menu, in addition to their current artisan coffee and record offering. They will also be using the space as a mini bakery to create their own Stutter & Twitch treats to sell from the caravan.
The Stutter & Twitch team will continue to play a role in curating live music for the space, bringing an uplifting soundtrack to the destination via local artists and DJ sets.
James Tootle, Head of Retail and Leisure from Bruntwood Works said:
“We’re delighted to be working with Stutter & Twitch on what is an inspiring expansion story. Ryan and his team have become an important part of the community in Stamford Quarter in Altrincham, delivering an uplifting, innovative offer despite the incredibly challenging backdrop to their launch – opening as they did during the first national lockdown. We are looking forward to supporting the team as they grow into this new space, and working together to create a vibrant destination on Stamford Square.”
Ryan Hayes, Founder of Stutter & Twitch said:
“Stutter & Twitch is all about creating a place to play and trade great music, serve fantastic coffee and share it with the local community. The Stamford Quarter has been a wonderful home for us – we’ve made so many new friends, and we’ve loved lifting spirits. We can’t wait to extend what we offer and introduce more amazing drinks, events and grooves to the neighbourhood – it’s going to be a wonderful offering that enhances Stamford Square. It’s tough out there right now, and we can’t wait for that time to come when we can share drinks with friends and enjoy great music together”
Bruntwood Works are seeking more innovative and exciting brands to join the neighbourhood as part of their vision for the future of the Stamford Quarter. With opportunities ranging from pop up shops to large-scale units, there are lots of options for independent enterprises to join the new high street community in Altrincham.
