La Bandera has this week introduced a brand-new menu, available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm, that celebrates the very best of Spanish street food flavours from across the country and its islands.

Each dish is named or related to different areas, flavours, and cuisines of Spain, and they come in at just £9.95 each – a fantastic lunch option. Here’s the menu, and for each of the items they’re served with sautéed seasonal vegetables and your choice of side, either Patatas Bravas, Papas Arrugadas (Canarian Wrinkled Potatoes) or Arroz Salteado (Vegetable Rice)…

PICOS DE EUROPA
Sautéed mushrooms in a Spanish blue cheese sauce.

CRISTÓBAL COLÓN
Marinated chicken mini fillets in breadcrumbs with a soy-bbq sauce.

SPANISH FISH & CHIPS
Alhambra beer battered Cod fillets served with green peas and your choice of side.

PERLAS DE TIERRA
Original Grandma’s recipe beef and pork meatballs in a rich tomato sauce.

ACAYMO
Chicken strips in a garlic, red pepper and spices sauce, traditional from the Canary Islands.

LA BILBAÍNA
Grilled Seabass fillets in a garlic, chilli, paprika and vinegar sauce.

SAN ANTONIO
Grilled Flat Iron steak in Canarian Mojo Rojo sauce, topped with fried onions.

GARAJONAY
King prawns in a spicy sauce with chilli, white wine, Canarian spices and coriander (Canarian curry).

MECHADO
Slow cooked pulled pork shoulder in Mojo Rojo sauce.

ALAS DE DIABLO
Spicy Chicken Wings in a Garlic, Sherry Wine, Chilli and Cayenne sauce.
