It’s unlikely to have escaped your notice that the government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme has been a big success so far. So successful in fact that I’ve been completely unable to get myself a booking in my most favourite places – and I’m certainly not going to stand around waiting. Don’t these people know who I am!?
I’m only kidding. I don’t care about that. But seriously, I’m not going to wait 1.5 hours outside somewhere. Not my thing. That’s where reservations come in and you’d best get on the blower ASAP because The Ivy have announced that they’ll be taking part in the scheme this August.
They’ll be offering half price on all food and soft drinks up to the value of £10 per person every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, on all menus, including their a la carte and vegetarian and vegan menus.
In addition, they’ve also created a brand-new menu that will be available all day from 11.30am every Monday – Wednesday throughout August. You can choose from either 2 courses for £30 or three for £35 before the offer is applied. For those of your that are shite at maths – that’s £20 for 2 courses and £25 for 3.
Good luck in getting yourself booked in – maybe get yourself Monday afternoon off work?
