I’m fuming. As of yesterday I was all set to go to Tenerife on my holidays on Christmas Eve for a week of sun, sea, sand and 3 jugs of Sangria before breakfast. Well, the Canary Islands were just taken off the Travel Corridor and so we’re not going to go anymore. Gutted.

La Bandera are basically bringing the Canary Islands to you with a range of hampers stuffed with the very best in Spanish cheeses, meats and of course – some of the best small-batch independent Spanish wines that money can buy.
There’s three Hamper options available;
Artisan Cheese Hamper (£24.95): 4 Cheeses, Homemade Fig Jam, Onion Chutney, Crackers.
Ibéricos Hamper (£24.95): Jamón, Chorizo, Salchichón, Lomo, Olives, Almonds, Kikos.
Spanish Delicatessen (£26.95): Jamón, Chorizo, 2 Cheeses, Olives, Crackers, Onion Chutney.
For each hamper you can have the choice of a bottle of red, white or rosé wine (£24), a bottle of Jaume Serre Brut Nature Cava (£26) or a specially selected WINE FLIGHT (£24.95); 4 wines beautifully paired with each meat or cheese in your hamper.
