For the first time ever, Tattu, the contemporary Chinese restaurant over on Spinningfields have launched an at-home delivery and click and collect service, providing restaurant-quality dishes in your own home! Gone are the days when you're stuck with a thick and gloopy Sweet & Sour Chicken, a few damp Prawn Crackers and Spring Rolls which look like they could be used to hit a home run, this is the most delectable Chinese takeaway and delivery you can imagine. The selection of dishes on offer with 'Tattu To You' is mightily impressive, with a range of much-loved Tattu specialities alongside some of their most infamous cocktails. You'll find an impressive menu with favourites such as their Lobster & Prawn Toast (£9), Peking Duck Bon Bons (£11) and my absolute favourite - their Sticky Beef Short Ribs (£10). In addition, there's the classic Aromatic Crispy Duck Pancakes (£21), Thai Style Monkfish (£26) and even their Caramel Soy Beef Fillet (£31), all of which can be topped off with an indulgent dessert - like their Asian Pear Sticky Toffee Pudding (£8). Wow. All of this can be washed down with a fine selection of wine, beer or one of Tattu's infamous cocktails - such as their Skull Candy (£10); a mix of Vodka, bubblegum and strawberry, or my fave the Cherry Blossom Negroni (£10); with Gin, cherry blossom vermouth and lovely, lovely Campari. When your food arrives (or you go to pick it up) most dishes can be finished out of their containers after a short stint in the oven or a few minutes in a hot wok or saucepan, allowing you to get that true restaurant experience in your own house.
