Don Giovanni
Manchester’s oldest independent Italian restaurant, Don Giovanni, launched themselves onto Deliveroo this year amidst the pandemic with a whopping great big menu. They’ve got everything from a classic Spaghetti Carbonara to Lobster Spaghetti and Calamari. There is also Ravioli Aragosta and the indulgent Scaloppine Al Fung (veal escalopes with mushrooms and white wine cream). They also offer up a roast if you fancy that!
Sicilian NQ
From pasta to arancino and now pantry essentials, Sicilian NQ has plenty of perfect Sicilian delights. The deli stocks all sorts from Sicilian Farm Olive Oil, homemade pasta sauces, pastry treats and ready-made cocktails. You can also grab wine and Prosecco or build your own Christmas hamper for gifting.
Sugo Pasta Kitchen
Probably the best pasta dishes in all the land are available for delivery on Deliveroo at Sugo’s Altrincham venue – so if you’re in the area – you lucky, lucky sods. You can’t really go wrong with their classic ‘House Sugo’ – orecchiette pasta with a beef shin, pork shoulder and nduja ragu. Mega.

Currently offering a reduced menu to usual over on Deliveroo as well as ‘Vaps Meal Deals’ which include the likes of one garlic bread, one pasta and one soft drink for £17 and the Vaps Date for £40. The date night bundle comes with one garlic bread, two pizzas and a bottle of wine or four bottles of Moretti.

I’m sure by now you already know about Rudy’s delivery offering. The much loved Neapolitan style pizza shop serves up almost all of their menu including their £7.90 Margherita pizza and the popular £9.90 Calabrese pizza. Vero Moderno
Available on Deliveroo and Click & Collect, Vero has established itself as one of the best Italian restaurants in the (two) cities. Their pasta, pizzas and well, pretty much everything is outstanding and there’s a massive menu to choose from. Their Ravioli Della Casa (£14.95) is a must-try – venison ravioli topped with a sublime orange infused butter sauce.

One of the most authentic and tasty Italian restaurants you can go to – Tre Ciccio concentrate on two main things – and do they really, really well. There’s their chicken, and then there’s their pizza. Both are outstanding and both are available for takeaway while we’re on lockdown. Make sure you order some of their Cheesy Dough Balls too – they’re very naughty and very good.

There are loads of Piccolinos out there so even if you live in places like Hale, Didsbury or Alderley Edge – you can still get authentic Italian dishes delivered to your doorstep. Or, if we’re being honest, delivered to your gate, that’s at the end of your massive gravel drive.
