Situated in the heart of Manchester, just a 2 minute walk from Deansgate, you’ll find La Bandera, an award-winning, traditional Spanish restaurant serving the city with high-quality Canarian cuisine.
As we get closer to summer, dreaming of holidays in the sun with a Sangria in hand, the restaurant has announced the return of its popular lunchtime menu – which you can enjoy alfresco from 12pm – 4pm, Monday to Friday every week.
La Bandera’s tapas lunch boards offer 3 tapas dishes for £14.50 or, if you pair it with a glass of wine or half of beer it’ll cost you £17.50.
You can choose from the restaurant’s regular changing ‘Tapitas’, featuring a range of classics such as the Patatas Bravas, Chorizo, Spanish Omelette and Calamari alongside more distinctive offerings including Grandma’s recipe Meatballs and Pulguitas de Cordero – sliders of pulled lamb in chilli and rosemary with a honey and mustard mayo.
The restaurant’s infamous Croquettes are also available on the menu. The recipe and cooking processes are extremely strict to ensure that all of the deep fried balls of potatoey goodness make it from kitchen to plate in prime condition.
La Bandera get the best results for their Croquetas by firstly refrigerating the batter for a minimum of three hours, but ideally they will leave them for a full TWO days. You can choose from either the signature Squid Ink Croquette, or the daily changing special option.
The restaurant also offers a bottomless brunch, if you can’t make the lunch deal this week, which is available every weekend from 11am until 4pm.
Enjoy 90 minutes of bottomless glasses of Cava, Mimosas, Beer, Sangria, or Wine alongside a selection of tapas or Spanish cured meats and cheeses.
