A dining experience that gives you an opportunity to get together with old friends and even make some new ones is what you will find at Bakerie. Set along their 40-foot communal dining table it’s like turning up for a great dinner party without having to get involved with the washing up. Sign me up.

So what do they have in store for us this time? Bone marrow and mutton curry served with Bakerie Nan and a glass of Le Sanglier Carignan. And before you get grossed out, this curry is rich, creamy and aromatic. The meat that is cooked on the bone melts in the mouth and the marrow provides so much intense flavour.

Long before the nose-to-tail revolution encouraged us to start eating the entire beast and made bone marrow fashionable, Indian home cooks were already on it. This sort of dish is usually reserved for the intimacy of a family dinner table, but it is making a guest appearance this November at Bakerie.
