We’ll be praying for sunny weather this coming Good Friday as the annual family friendly charity Duck Race takes place along the banks of River Irwell to raise money for Brainwave.

Scene Indian Street Kitchen occupies a prime spot for watching the duck race from their stunning outdoor riverside terrace and families and friends are all welcome to join them for their annual duck race BBQ.

Enjoy the sunshine and take in the views as thousands of rubber ducks sail past or take cover under the heated canopies if the weather is more suited to the ducks!

Chefs from Scene will be taking to the terrace from midday on April 14th where they will serve up a selection from their traditional street food menu on the outdoor grill including their speciality award-nominated Samosa Chaat, and other speciality dishes like Lamb Chops and the popular Samosa Burger. Indian Street Food will be brought to life as Scene sends their signature cooking smells wafting along the River Irwell.

Be sure to treat the family this Good Friday with their popular Fish Amritsari, and get your Easter off to the best possible start by sampling Scene’s classic flavours and spices from the sub-continent. Their vastly stocked bar serving signature and classic cocktails and mocktails will also be open as well as their garden veranda with Shisha.
